Proofreading and Copyediting

Proofreading: My proofreading service not only examines your text for errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation, but also ensures that your work is stylistically consistent (fonts, spellings, capitalisations, spacing, referencing, etc.) with either itself or with an official standard of your choosing (APA, MLA, CMS, etc.).

Proofreading rate: 10 euros per 1000 words.

Copyediting:  This more comprehensive service includes the proofreading service but goes much further. My copyediting service maximises the effectiveness and readability of your text by, where appropriate, rewriting sentences and/or paragraphs, as well as by suggesting changes in, for example, word choice, structure, syntax and argument. Copyediting goes beyond the printed text to improve the clarity, potency and beauty of your document while keeping your unique voice.

Copyediting rate: 20 euros per 1000 words.
